About the Author:
Elaine Glusac is a Chicago-based freelancer who writes about travel, food and offbeat personalities such as a duct-tape artist, a chef who once subsisted on grass and a former media mogul restoring his private New Mexico lands to pre-western-contact states. She is a regular contributor to The New York Times, where in addition to writing features and news she subs on the Getaway column. She’s a contributing editor at Virtuoso Life, a special correspondent for AFAR.com and enjoys a longstanding relationship with Private Clubs.
