Due Date:

Stories are Due October 1, 2023. They must be submitted in manuscript form (word doc or pdf). It’s OK if they were published any time after the conference, but not before. If they have yet to find a home, that’s fine too.

  • Many of the Ireland editors will judge the contest.
  • The subject has to do with anything --- travel, cultural, food, spa, personality, music --- concerning the Island of Ireland.

Deadline: Must be received by October 1, 2023
Format: Double space. Indicate word count in top right corner and title your story. Email 2 PDFs to Maren with your name on one PDF only. (editors will not see your name)
Eligibility: All attendees of the 2023 Ireland conference

Requirements: We are happy to receive previously published articles, provided the publication date is after the 2023 Ireland conference. Keep in mind contest entries must be emailed in manuscript form, with no mention of the journal in which they appeared.
Limits: Prize may not be redeemed for cash. Scottsdale comped conference fee cannot be transferred to another conference.
Judging: All manuscripts will be judged by editors who participated in the 2023 Travel Classics in Ireland. Some of the editors may choose to add constructive comments to submissions.
