'Wagon Road to Mother Road’ Exhibit Exposes Route 66’s Wilder Side

A new exhibit, “Wagon Road to Mother Road,” opens Nov. 16 at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, AZ. Based on the museum’s archaeological surveys in Petrified Forest National Park, the exhibition uncovers Route 66’s wilder side—revelry, hardship, and tragedy revealed through discarded objects.
