In 2011, Philadelphia natives Larissa and Michael Milne quit their jobs, sold their house and gave away their possessions to travel around the world for a year with a Rocky statue. After learning to live more simply, they are still on the road as full-time global nomads. During their travels they stopped back in Philadelphia to write Philadelphia Liberty Trail: Trace the Path of America's Heritage, which won a 2015 book-of-the-year award from the Society of American Travel Writers Eastern Chapter.
